Diligence & Craft

Standing Before Kings

"Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." (Proverbs 22:29, KJV)

There is no nobility in sloppy execution disguised as spirituality. Excellence honors God and commands the respect of humanity. When a craftsperson hones their skills to the highest standard, their work naturally speaks in rooms they have not yet entered. Diligence is not merely working long hours; it is working with meticulous care, integrity, and relentless refinement.

Whatever domain you operate within—trade, commerce, technology, or governance—approach your responsibilities as though Christ were your direct inspector. When excellence becomes your baseline, promotion is not an accident; it is the inevitable fruit of divine favor meeting human diligence.
