Windows of Opportunity

Seizing the Kairos Season

"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all." (Ecclesiastes 9:11, KJV)

In life and ministry, there are general measures of time (chronos) and there are divine intersections of opportunity (kairos). The swiftest runner does not always win simply by raw speed; rather, victory belongs to the one who recognizes when the divine wind begins to blow and positions their sails accordingly. Opportunity is rarely permanent. It arrives as an open corridor and demands immediate, prayerful obedience.

Many spend years preparing skills, yet fail because their spiritual radar is dulled by complacency. When God creates an open door, hesitation disguises itself as prudence. True wisdom discerns the shifting of seasons, abandons comfortable routines, and steps boldly into the appointed moment before the aperture closes. Redeem the time today; your readiness determines your harvest.
