The Glorified Christ
He Who Holds Seven Stars
"And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength." (Revelation 1:16, KJV)
The seven stars are the messengers of the churches. Stars shine brightly even when the night is deep and the moon wanes. In biblical typology, the moon represents the church reflecting the light of the Sun, Christ, who is the eternal, brilliant light.
While the visible church may pass through dark seasons and waning phases, the stars represent the mature, faithful messengers who shine steadily regardless of the darkness around them. Hallelujah! The stars shine because of Jesus' upholding right hand:
• The hand that was pierced upon the cross.
• The hand that framed the worlds into existence.
• The hand that folded the linen clothes in the empty tomb.
• The hand that presented the redeeming blood before the Father.
• The hand that is worthy to take and open the scroll.
• The hand that holds the golden bowls of incense, which are the prayers of all the saints.
It is the sovereign right hand of the Lord, exalted high and securing His own forever!

Hallelujah! Lord Jesus, You hold me fast in Your mighty right hand. Upheld by Your grace, I shine brightly for Your glory in every season. Amen!
